Customize and upgrade your 2025 Mustang, right from factory, with one of several optional appearance and performance packages.  The Performance Pack enhances performance features on GT and GT premium, with a focus on functional features, such as upgraded wheels, tires, and brakes. Furthermore, it offers a Performance Raised Rear Wing and unique chassis tuning. 

2025 Ford Mustang – powertrains

The 2025 Ford Mustang has two engines. The first is a 2.3 L EcoBoost 315 horsepower engine that gets points for fuel economy. The other is a 5 .0L Coyote V8 486 horsepower engine that’s more powerful than ever, and it’s standard on the GT model.  Mustang Dark Horse has a modified Gen-4 5.0L Coyote V8 500 horsepower engine. 


2025 Ford Mustang – performance features

The 2025 Ford Mustang continues to offer a standard equipped manual transmission, the MT82-D4 6-speeed with rev matching on the GT model, and 10-Speed SelectShift Automatic on all Ecoboost trims. Dark Horse Mustang gets a modified TREMEC TR3160 6-speed manual transmission with rev matching and no-lift shifting.

2025 Ford Mustang – drive modes

The six drive modes offered by the 2025 Ford Mustang are Normal, Slippery, Sport, Drag, Track, and a customizable MyMode. Drive modes can alter internal systems such as engine response, steering effort, and other performance settings. You’ll get a different driving experience from each one.
